GoldenSift is committed to compliance with all applicable copyright laws and takes allegations of infringement seriously. As an online service provider, we have implemented a transparent, legal mechanism to respond to formal complaints regarding unauthorized use of copyrighted content in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). This process allows us to strike a balance between protecting the intellectual property of rights holders and ensuring due process for our users. If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your work is being used on our platform without proper authorization, you must provide us with a written DMCA takedown notification that includes the following information, as required by federal law: Your full name and physical or electronic signature; A detailed description of the copyrighted work(s) you claim has/have been infringed, including any relevant registration numbers, publication dates, or other identifiers; A description of the location on our platform where the allegedly infringing content appears, including one or more specific URLs or paths; Your contact information, including your mailing address, telephone number, and email address; A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf. Upon receiving a compliant DMCA notice, we will promptly assess the claim, and if deemed appropriate, we will disable or remove access to the infringing content. We also reserve the right to notify the affected user and provide them with the content of your notice, which may include your contact information. In the event the user disputes the claim and provides a proper counter-notification, the allegedly infringing content may be restored unless the original complainant initiates legal proceedings within the statutory period. Both sides are encouraged to resolve disputes through the appropriate legal channels. Misrepresenting facts in a DMCA notice or counter-notification is a serious offense and may result in legal liability.
